Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marlin Pena (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Todd Duffield (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Todd Duffield has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Marlin Pena!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Todd Duffield!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Elvis Blanc and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown attempt by Pena or perhaps it was just good defense by Duffield, which made it look bad.
Duffield stuffs the takedown attempt from Pena. Pena gets slowly back to his feet.
Pena could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Pena tries for a takedown but Duffield circles away easily
and Duffield counters by moving into the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marlin Pena. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Duffield turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Duffield manages to end up in side control.
Pena bucks up and tries to throw Duffield off but instead Duffield has got his back!
Duffield has good solid back control here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Duffield is landing with strikes. Pena can't take much more of this.
Duffield biding his time, controlling Pena.
Pena covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.
It looks like Marlin Pena has been cut.
Duffield is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Pena. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped.
Duffield just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Pena is trying to get back to his feet. He's worked up on to his knees and now he's on his feet with his head on the canvas, trying to shake Duffield off. It looks like it's working - Duffield slides off, much to his dismay, and we're back to standing! Pena displaying calm under pressure there.
A combination from Duffield does no damage.
Duffield pushes Pena up against the cage in a clinch.
Pena breaks from the clinch.
Pena wants to clinch up but Duffield keeps it at a distance.
Duffield scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Pena is trying to stand up here but Duffield is controlling him well.
Duffield throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Duffield is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Duffield is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Pena sees it coming and defends easily.
Duffield is controlling the pace.
Duffield tries to stand and escape but Pena is controlling the position.
Pena wants to control the action here but instead Duffield manages to pass to full mount!
Duffield is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Pena can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Duffield wants to control the pace but Pena is squirming around nicely.
Duffield is trying to stand up but he's being controlled by his opponent.
Duffield raining down shots from the mount!
Duffield is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Pena has managed to escape the submission attempt.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Todd Duffield dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Marlin Pena's cut.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Duffield bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Duffield wants to stand but Pena is controlling his arm.
Duffield passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Pena!
Pena's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Duffield has hold of Pena's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Pena manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Pena is squirming around, avoiding Duffield's attempts to control the action.
Pena is trying to escape the mount.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Duffield trying to control but he's not successful this time.
The referee warns Pena that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Duffield working for a guillotine from mount but Pena is in no mood to give up.
Duffield tries to control but Pena wriggling away.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Duffield working away from the top, dropping strikes.
Duffield looking to control but Pena is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Duffield looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Pena covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
