Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Hong Kong Phooey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ghee Buttersnaps (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Phooey's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Hong Kong Phooey. Buttersnaps has chosen Move on Up - Curtis Mayfield as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Hong Kong Phooey has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

21 - 17 - 1, fighting out of New York, Hong Kong Phooey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
23 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ghee Buttersnaps!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, John Roberts and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Buttersnaps moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Phooey connects with a right hand. Buttersnaps shakes it off.
Phooey connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Phooey chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Buttersnaps pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Phooey, right into the meat.
Phooey lands a head shot.
Buttersnaps tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Phooey was well out of range. Poor timing from Buttersnaps.
Phooey throws a head kick that half lands.
It looks like Ghee Buttersnaps has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Phooey slips a jab from Buttersnaps.
Buttersnaps has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Buttersnaps throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Phooey makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Phooey throws a right and a left that Buttersnaps avoids nicely.
Phooey throws a body shot but no joy.
Phooey lands a head shot.
Phooey misses with a double jab.
Ghee Buttersnaps seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Phooey bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Phooey, as that shot connected.
Buttersnaps connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Phooey avoids a punch combination nicely.
Phooey throws a right and a left that Buttersnaps avoids nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Buttersnaps lands a nice shot that snaps Phooey's head back.
Buttersnaps takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Phooey cracks Buttersnaps with a right hand to the side of the head.
Buttersnaps throws a leg kick
and Phooey counters with a one-two to the body.
Buttersnaps is rocked!
Phooey lands a brutal head kick. Buttersnaps looks out on his feet and Phooey throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick and Punches). Hong Kong Phooey!
