Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Taavi Liisteri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mauri Pekkarinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Liisteri kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Solid Base - I like it. Pekkarinen is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Gay Bar. Mauri Pekkarinen has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Taavi Liisteri's chin.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Arvi Lind and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Liisteri keeps the fight on the outside.
Pekkarinen throws a series of punches but Liisteri avoids them all with ease.
Liisteri shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Pekkarinen but Pekkarinen pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Liisteri changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Pekkarinen tries to avoid it but Liisteri manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Pekkarinen to the ground. Pekkarinen escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Left hook, right uppercut from Pekkarinen.
It looks like Taavi Liisteri has been cut.
Liisteri decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Liisteri works his way into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Liisteri has hold of Pekkarinen's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Pekkarinen seems comfortable defending it but Liisteri has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Pekkarinen is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Pekkarinen is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Liisteri couldn't care less - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Taavi Liisteri!
