And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Salazar Romello!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Shigeki Sano.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yavas misses with a takedown attempt - Romello sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Yavas really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Yavas has gone for a leg lock! Romello slips out almost immediately though and dives into Yavas's guard.

Romello stands up and waves to Yavas to follow him.

Romello changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Yavas tries to avoid it but Romello manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Yavas to the ground. Yavas escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Romello shoots in but no luck this time.
Romello closes the distance and clinches up with Yavas, looking for a takedown. Romello pushes Yavas against the cage but Yavas circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Yavas displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Romello.

Salazar Romello showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
