Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Hunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Cave (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nick Cave is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunt looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Cave!
Hunt working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Cave throws Hunt to one side and escapes!
Cave sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Hunt shoots in for a double leg but Cave sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Hunt shoots in and drives through. Cave sprawls well.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Cave throws a right hand that Hunt ducks under and follows up with a left that Hunt also avoids with ease.

Cave connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Cave uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Hunt shoots for a takedown but Cave saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Cave lands a big head kick that sends Hunt tumbling to the mat! Cave takes a step backwards and waves Hunt back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Cave fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Hunt, pushing him back against the cage.
Oh Hunt is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Cave with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Cave has Hunt pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Hunt is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Cave - that's hurt Hunt badly! Oh, another knee lands and Hunt is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Hunt doesn't seem to be complaining.
