Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jeffry Wooten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mpho Jimson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jeffry Wooten! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mpho Jimson! The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Anni Minnemäki and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jimson clinches with his opponent.
Jimson misses with a knee to the head. Wooten breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. The fight stays on the outside here - Wooten looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Jimson misses with a kick to the body.
Wooten tries a low kick but Jimson avoids it. Jimson shoots in but Wooten avoids the takedown attempt easily. Jimson gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Wooten counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Wooten manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Wooten is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Wooten is nestled in close to Jimson, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wooten working over Jimson with some ground and pound. Jimson looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Wooten really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Wooten is looking for a kimura here.
Wooten looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Wooten is thwarting Jimson's attempts to control the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jimson is looking for a sweep. Wooten is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Wooten seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Wooten lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Wooten is working for a kimura but Jimson is defending it quite comfortably.

Jimson is trying to control but can't.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Jimson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Wooten is looking for a kimura but Jimson is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Wooten to get the leverage. Wooten is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Wooten drops an elbow to the side of Jimson's head. Wooten is nestled in close to Jimson, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Wooten is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Jeffry Wooten dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Jimson gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily so Wooten counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Wooten lands a couple of decent looking shots. Jeffry Wooten overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Wooten is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Wooten content to stall in guard here. Jimson keeping moving, preventing Wooten from controlling successfully. Wooten postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wooten trying to control the position from guard on top but Jimson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Wooten's corner is telling him to maintain position.
We're going to have a standup here because Jeffry Wooten wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Wooten fails to land with a series of punches.
Wooten gets in close and instigates a clinch. Jimson can't find room to land a body shot as Wooten controls the action.
Jimson fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Wooten breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Wooten is looking to clinch. Jimson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Wooten sprawls well. Wooten wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jimson gets slowly back to his feet. Jeffry Wooten has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mpho Jimson. Jimson is breathing heavily. Wooten dips to his left and cracks Jimson with an uppercut!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fight moves into the clinch position. Wooten breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Jimson misses with a takedown and Wooten counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Wooten controlling the pace. Wooten is working for a kimura but Jimson is defending it quite comfortably.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Jimson wants to sweep but Wooten has passed to side control! Wooten is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Jimson knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Wooten working the ground and pound from side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wooten is trying to get an arm triangle but Jimson is defending well. Wooten has an Americana. Jimson didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Wooten is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Wooten hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
