Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mustaffa Spliff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michal Tarnowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tarnowski has chosen Hemp Gru - Sami swoi as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Michal Tarnowski was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

17 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Michal Tarnowski! The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, John Kavanagh and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tarnowski's jab looks to have found its range, popping Spliff under the eye. Tarnowski feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Spliff's calf. Spliff tries to clinch and Tarnowski counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Tarnowski prevents Spliff from standing back up.
Tarnowski looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Tarnowski is keen to just control but Spliff is a slippery customer. Tarnowski is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Tarnowski connects with a nice short shot to Spliff's temple. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Tarnowski not landing any meaningful shots this time. Spliff looks like he's trying to stand up.

Michal Tarnowski dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Spliff tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Tarnowski counters with a nice leg kick. Tarnowski throws a body punch but Spliff moves out of range. Tarnowski circles away from the clinch attempt.
Tarnowski lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. A chopping leg kick lands by Tarnowski. Tarnowski misses with a straight left. Spliff darts in trying to clinch and Tarnowski counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Spliff's guard now. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Spliff preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Spliff wants to get back to his feet but Tarnowski is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Tarnowski working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Spliff's head. Tarnowski content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Michal Tarnowski has got the better of the ground game so far. Tarnowski pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Spliff is keeping the position for now. Tarnowski trying to control the position from guard on top but Spliff is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Tarnowski with a flurry of punches that miss. Spliff trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. And that's the end of the fight! Michal Tarnowski comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Tarnowski has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
