Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Buzz Killington!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Russell Pearce and Eddie Farnsworth.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Coach closes the distance and pushes Killington back into the cage.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Coach.
Killington leaning his opponent against the cage.
Killington wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Coach tries a body shot but Killington blocks it.
Coach's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
A nice right hand lands inside from Coach.
The referee is keeping an eye on Coach - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Killington tries to throw a body punch but Coach avoids it by throwing Killington back against the cage.
Killington is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Coach goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Killington lands with a left to the head.
Killington blocks a body shot from Coach.

Killington manages to break the clinch.
Coach scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Killington misses with a hook.
Coach lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.


It looks like Buzz Killington has been cut.

Coach drops Killington with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Killington looks back up at him and smiles so Coach waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.


Killington is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Coach lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Coach throws a nice looking combination but Killington bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Buzz Killington seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Killington missing with a left hand there. Coach was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Coach lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Killington circles away quickly and effectively.
Killington blocks a head kick by Coach.
Killington connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Coach lands a slapping body shot.
Coach takes one to the side of the head.
Nice defenses there by Coach.
Killington gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Coach counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.

Coach connects with the punch.
Coach finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Coach lands with a nice body punch.
Coach has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Coach circles away from the clinch attempt.
Killington connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Coach throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Killington tries to clinch but Coach is having none of it.
Coach moves out of range of the leg kick from Killington.
Coach uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Killington moves in looking to clinch but Coach pushes him off.
Coach plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Nice jab there from Killington.
Killington throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Coach gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Coach dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Killington. That did some damage!

Coach looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Killington tries to land a body kick
and Coach counters with a right hand to the body.
Coach misses the jab.
Killington jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Coach tries to clinch up.
Killington tried to score with a low kick but Coach checks it.
A combination from Killington does no damage.
Killington misses with an uppercut

and Coach counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Coach lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Killington misses with a punch on the inside.
Killington has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Coach seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Killington can turn it around.

Coach tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Nice body punch from Killington - that landed with a thud.

Killington is looking to break free of the clinch but Coach has double underhooks.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Killington is looking to control Coach's arms but Coach gets an underhook and turns him. Now Killington has his back to the cage.

Coach landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Coach lands a shoulder strike.


That has opened up Buzz Killington's cut even more.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Coach connects with a nasty looking knee right to Killington's face.
Coach misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Killington misses with a punch to the body.
Coach throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Killingtons head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The Coach dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Buzz Killington's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Coach looks to land a right hand but Killington moved out of range.
Killington throws a right hand that misses
and Coach counters with a solid body kick.
Coach staying out of range there.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Coach.
Coach steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Killington.
Coach with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Killington throws a body kick despite being completely out of range

and Coach counters with a crisp right hand that drops Killington! Coach lets Killington back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Killington is still on wobbly legs! Can Coach finish him?
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Coach avoids the head kick by Killington.
Coach wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Coach misses with a wild body shot.
Killington seems to have recovered his senses.
Coach keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Killington.
Coach connects with a body shot that sends Killington's belly button to the back.
Coach throws a right and a left that Killington avoids nicely.
Coach jabs at Killington's body.
The Coach is winning the standup battle so far.
Killington is breathing heavily.
Coach lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Coach lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Killington on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Killington blocks a head kick by Coach.
A thudding body kick lands there by Coach!
Coach throws a series of punches but Killington moves out of range.
Coach lands with a hook. Killington tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Killington doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Killington tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Coach dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Coach throws a monster overhand right that drops Killington! Coach follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). The Coach!
The Coach very nearly forgot to thank Perkele! amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
