With a record of 21 - 14 - 0, fighting out of New York, Samir Oliva!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Dean Styles and Joseph Jones.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice inside leg kick there by Oliva. That's going to slow Calypso down.
Calypso shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Oliva defends it nicely.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Calypso is pressing down on Oliva's thigh, looking to free his foot. Oliva is holding on for now.

We've been hearing good reports from Calypso's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Calypso looking to control but Oliva is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Calypso is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Oliva can't stay in a position like this for much longer.


That has opened up Samir Oliva's cut even more.

Calypso looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Samir Oliva's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
