PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Aze Toro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robbin Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Toro comes to the cage accompanied by Hate me or Get DIE tryn' - 50cent. Gracie has chosen Nervecell - Psychogenocide as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A lazy left from Gracie finds it's target.
Gracie throws a sloppy head kick and Toro moves out of range easily.
Toro misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Gracie.
Gracie moves away from the strike by Toro.
Toro digs a good hook to Gracie's body.
Toro dodges the punch combination from Gracie.
Gracie on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Gracie fails with a takedown attempt.
Toro connects with a nice looking jab.
Toro connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Toro throws a right hand that Gracie ducks under and follows up with a left that Gracie also avoids with ease.
Toro throws a shot from downtown. Gracie moves away and avoids it.

Gracie throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Toro tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Gracie is in Toro's guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Toro looking for a guillotine here but Gracie defends easily.
Gracie is in close to Toro's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Toro really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Toro wants to sweep but no luck.
Gracie scoring with punches to the head and body.
Toro wants to sweep here but Gracie controlling him for the moment.
Gracie throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Toro works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Toro has momentary wrist control but Gracie slips an elbow through the middle.

Toro had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Gracie defends it easily.
Gracie wants to control from the top but Toro keeps moving.
Toro tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Gracie working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Gracie stands and throws Toro's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Toro sneaks back into half guard.

Gracie is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Toro has managed to free his arm - good work.
Toro throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Toro wants to improve his position but Gracie is controlling well.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Toro moves into full guard.
Gracie wants to control from the top but Toro keeps moving.
Gracie throws a big right hand that misses.

Gracie is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Toro wants to sweep here but Gracie controlling him for the moment.
Toro is working hard here to advance position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gracie sitting in guard, not really doing much.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Robbin Gracie.
Gracie smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Gracie ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Toro scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Gracie tries to clinch up but Toro circles away and keeps his distance.
Gracie is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Toro.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Gracie closes this distance looking for a takedown but Toro circles away.
Gracie has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Gracie takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Toro misses the jab.
Gracie moves in looking to clinch but Toro pushes him off.
Toro tries to bum rush Gracie with a series of wild strikes but Gracie uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Gracie looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Toro tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Gracie is able to avoid easily.
Gracie scores with a jab to the head.
Aze Toro is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Gracie ducks right into an uppercut from Toro.
Gracie fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Aze Toro has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Robbin Gracie.
Toro lands a jab to the nose.
Gracie on the wrong end of a nice hook.

Gracie is rocked!
Toro drops Gracie with a straight right hand, right on the button! Toro follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
