Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, George Thompson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tyler Durden!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Wesley Smith and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Durden gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Thompson counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Thompson throws a right and a left that Durden avoids nicely.
Thompson throws out a loose jab but Durden uses good head movement to avoid it.
A combination from Durden does no damage.
Thompson moves in looking to clinch but Durden pushes him off.
Thompson swings widly with a right hand
and Durden counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Thompson tries to clinch but Durden is having none of it.
Durden misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Thompson doesn't manage to clinch there - Durden circles away.
Durden shoots in for a takedown but Thompson shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Durden tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Thompson is able to avoid easily.
Thompson shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Durden is trying to defend but Thompson finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Durden has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Thompson is working away from the top position though.
Durden really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Thompson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Thompson is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Durden is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Thompson scores with a couple of nice shots.
Thompson winds up and cracks Durden with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Thompson scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Durden is rocked!
Thompson lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Durden quite badly. Durden pulls Thompson in close trying to recover. Thompson postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Durden on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Durden doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). George Thompson!
