Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Garrett Boswell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kal Metamoris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kal Metamoris will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice uppercut lands for Boswell. That snapped Metamoris's head back.

Boswell manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Metamoris on his heels. He'll look to pass Metamoris's guard now, I'm sure.
Metamoris avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Boswell scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Metamoris looking to hit a scissor sweep but Boswell is one step ahead there.
Boswell looking to sit in guard and control but Metamoris gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Boswell is striking off his back. Metamoris thinks nothing of it though and passes easily into half guard.
Boswell throws a strike from the bottom but Metamoris passes into side control!

You can see the frustration on Boswell's face as Metamoris controls the position.

Boswell knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Metamoris on the ground.

Metamoris wants to take a breather but Boswell manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Metamoris.

Boswell landing rabbit punches to the side of Metamoris's head. Not doing much damage but still scoring a few points.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Boswell is striking from the bottom but he's now found himself mounted! Oh dear - not enough focus on defense there.
Boswell wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Metamoris.

Boswell has worked his way to half guard, taking advantage of Metamoris's lack of action.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Boswell lands a big right hand that drops Metamoris! The killer instinct kicks in and Boswell finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Boswell!
