Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between diego insua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Homer Burns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
insua throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Burns's waist but Burns gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing insua off to one side.
Burns fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. insua looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
insua fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Burns lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Burns scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

Burns has insua up against the cage in a clinch.
insua tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Burns smiles and moves away.

Burns shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in insua's guard.
insua can't keep his opponent in guard - Burns advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

insua has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Burns is working away from the top position though.
insua wants to get back to full guard but Burns has mounted him!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
insua is trying desperately to improve position.

Homer Burns dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Burns cracks insua with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Burns drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
insua is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Let's hope that Burns has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

insua knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Burns on the ground.
Despite being in the dominant position, Homer Burns just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Burns not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Burns with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Burns won't allow insua to sweep him here.

Burns stands and steps away. insua gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Burns throws a good cross that connects.
Burns closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Homer Burns showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Homer Burns comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Burns has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
