Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Brett Snow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Rain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brett Snow has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Brett Snow! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, John Rain! The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shigeki Fujiwara and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rain clinches up with Snow and pushes him back against the cage. Rain missing with knees to the body.
Snow avoiding damage as Rain throws knees to the body.
Snow lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Rain backwards. Snow is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Snow misses with the head strike.
Rain successfully pulls guard.
Rain had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Snow defends it easily. Snow drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Rain manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Snow has Rain in his guard. Snow looking for a guillotine here but Rain defends easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Snow wants to get back to his feet but Rain is in a dominant position and won't allow it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rain stands up and waves to Snow to follow him. Rain shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Rain was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Rain working the ground and pound but Snow is defending the strikes. Snow gets back to half guard. Snow wants to control but Rain is keeping busy and won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Snow keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. Snow might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Rain sitting and controlling from the half guard. Snow has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Rain is working away from the top position though. Snow is looking for a sweep. Rain is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Snow is staying active underneath Rain, who seems content to just control the action from this position. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Brett Snow wasn't doing enough on the ground. Rain decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Snow trying to hold on to Rain's head to control him but Rain postures up.
Rain tries to pass the half guard into mount. Snow knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Snow controlling the position well. Snow is trying to maintain the position but Rain is very close to passing his half guard. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Rain is looking for a kimura here.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Snow keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Snow trying to control here.
Rain is looking for a kimura but Snow is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Rain to get the leverage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Snow is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Snow trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!
Rain tries to control but Snow wriggling away. Snow keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Snow wants to control but Rain is having none of it. Rain in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Snow wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.

John Rain dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Good leg kick by Rain there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Snow enables Rain to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Snow manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Snow pulls Rain in close to prevent any damage. Snow could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. John Rain has got the better of the ground game so far. Snow looking for a sweep. Not yet Snow, not yet. Rain trying to control the position from guard on top but Snow is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Nice jab there from Rain. Rain moves into the clinch successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rain gets control of Snow's arms and successfully pulls guard. Rain will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Rain is trying to control the position but Snow postures up. Snow being controlled here momentarily. Snow with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Rain wants to improve his position but instead Snow has moved into half guard.
Snow is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Rain has managed to free his arm - good work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rain trying to control from the bottom.
Rain wants to get back to full guard but Snow has mounted him! Rain wants to control but Snow is having none of it. Snow lands a couple of good shots and Rain has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Snow doesn't have the hooks in and Rain manages to turn into his guard.
Snow can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Rain controls the pace. Snow looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Rain looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Rain gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Rain closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Snow quickly recovers to half guard. Rain is breathing heavily. Snow moves into full guard.
Rain trying to control but Snow is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rain missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Snow manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Rain manages to get himself to full guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Snow throws an elbow that misses. Rain uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Snow's guard. Nice move by Rain! Snow is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Rain trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Rain postures up.

John Rain showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Snow fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Rain to the ground. Snow is now in Rain's guard. Rain utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Snow missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Rain manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Snow wants to control but Rain is having none of it. Snow is looking to improve his position but Rain isn't that keen on the idea.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Rain escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Rain ducks right into an uppercut from Snow. Snow throws a head kick that misses and Rain counters with a nice double leg into side control. Snow won't be happy with that. Rain decides to take the fight back to the feet. Rain takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Snow changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Rain looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Snow working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Rain is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Snow's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fighters are battling for position here. Rain manages to regain full guard. Nice work. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Rain is on top in guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Snow has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Rain has passed into side control.
And that's the end of the fight! John Rain comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Rain has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... John Rain! A less than humble John Rain misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
