Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cole Venox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Saem Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Saem Black enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cole Venox!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Saem Black!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Stewart Dunkirk and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Venox is looking to clinch.
Cole Venox seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Black leaves Venox with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Black moves out of range as Venox strikes.
Venox shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Black but Black pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Venox tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Venox darts in trying to clinch
and Black counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Venox manages to get to full guard.

Black cracks Venox with a solid left hand.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Black accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Venox wants to stand up but Black is controlling him.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Black scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Let's hope that Black has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Venox escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Black gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Black slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Venox closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Black quickly recovers to half guard.

Black felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Cole Venox just wasn't active enough.
Black takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Venox motions for Black to come forward. Venox throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Venox tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Black defends well and Venox ends up having to push Black into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Black ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Black no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Cole Venox will probably get the nod.
