PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Anderson Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rex Tyrannosaurus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones comes to the ring accompanied by Dear Agony. Tyrannosaurus has chosen MacArthurPark as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tyrannosaurus throws a leg kick
and Jones counters with a good, hard body kick but Tyrannosaurus shrugs it off.
Jones works over Tyrannosaurus's head and body with a nice combination.

It looks like Rex Tyrannosaurus has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Jones throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Tyrannosaurus stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Tyrannosaurus's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Jones staggers Tyrannosaurus with a jab and knocks him down with a follow up straight! Tyrannosaurus looks in trouble, will he beat the count?! The count has reached 5 and he's only back to 1 knee - it's going to be close! 6,7,8 - he's up! Just in time and the ref is going to let the fight continue!

Jones lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Jones connects with a solid leg kick.

Tyrannosaurus walks into a straight right hand and goes down! Jones rushes to a neutral corner so the count doesn't get delayed but Tyrannosaurus has made it back to his feet on 5. He's OK so we're back to the action.

Jones is stalking his opponent - BOOM! Switch kick out of nowhere! Tyrannosaurus is not moving; he is out cold!! Wow, what a quick finish that was.
