Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Harry Hodin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tikuana St Regis ! The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Emerson Jorge and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hodin works over St Regis 's head and body with a nice combination.
It looks like Tikuana St Regis has been cut. St Regis fails with a takedown attempt from distance. The crowd cheers as Hodin lands an impressive looking overhand right. St Regis doesn't seem phased though. St Regis misses with a takedown and Hodin counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hodin pushing out the jab but it's not landing. St Regis has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from St Regis there as he acknowledges the shot. Hodin takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Hodin throws a one two combo.
St Regis shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hodin as he jumps to the side. Harry Hodin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tikuana St Regis . St Regis shoots and misses and Hodin counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. St Regis is trying desperately to land a takedown but Hodin is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for St Regis . Hodin changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. St Regis gets the takedown into side control. St Regis tries to advance to mount but can't. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. St Regis looks winded! St Regis is looking to take a break and control but Hodin is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. St Regis thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Hodin is looking to get back to his feet here but St Regis is keeping cool and he's managed to take Hodin's back. St Regis missing with strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Hodin is trying to stand back up. Even with his hooks in, St Regis manages to miss with strikes from the back. St Regis scores with punches from the back.

That's four minutes gone in the round. St Regis throwing strikes and Hodin squirms under the pressure, ending up mounted. St Regis in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. St Regis throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Poor strikes thrown by St Regis there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
St Regis is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Hodin has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Hodin! Hodin is looking to stand up but St Regis won't let him. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! St Regis working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Hodin has passed into half guard!

St Regis uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Hodin. St Regis on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
St Regis misses with a takedown attempt - Hodin sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Harry Hodin is winning the standup battle so far. Hodin paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. St Regis shoots in but no luck this time. Hodin scores with a jab. St Regis acknowledges it with a nod of the head. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A jab lands there for Hodin. Hodin catches St Regis with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Hodin lands a big right hand that sends St Regis crashing to the mat! Hodin stays standing though and waves St Regis back to his feet!
St Regis is rocked! St Regis avoids a lazy jab quite easily. St Regis is still on wobbly legs! Can Hodin finish him? St Regis blocks a jab. St Regis seems to have recovered his senses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. Hodin moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt St Regis ! Hodin continues to tee off on St Regis , landing with a left and a right! Hodin connects with a right hand that leaves St Regis sleeping against the cage! What a finish by Hodin!
