Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Albert Hoffman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robbie Rage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rage is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The Ghost of Tom Joad. Robbie Rage will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rage connects with a solid leg kick.
We've been informed that Rage has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Hoffman tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Rage swivels and escapes.
Rage misses with a low kick.
Rage connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Rage wants to land a leg kick but Hoffman is out of range.
Rage lands a nice leg kick that just misses Hoffman 's sensitive parts.
Rage keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
We've been hearing reports that Hoffman has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

A nice inside leg kick there by Rage. That's going to slow Hoffman down.
Rage thumps Hoffman with a low kick.

The fighters circle momentarily. Rage darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Rage buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
The fight stays on the outside here - Hoffman looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Hoffman walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Oh Hoffman is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Rage scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Hoffman seems to have got his legs back now.
That kick from Rage tenderised Hoffman 's leg. Hoffman is trying to keep his angry face on.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Hoffman . He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Hoffman is breathing heavily.
Hoffman goes for a double leg but Rage avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Rage continues to drive forward.

Rage throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Hoffman s head.
Hoffman drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Rage gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Hoffman tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Rage just stands there and leans against the cage.

Rage makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Rage dips a shoulder and cracks Hoffman with a mighty uppercut! Hoffman falls back against the cage and Rage unloads with a barrage of strikes! Hoffman is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Rage screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
