Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Varis Evletineukas! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Aaron Sesay! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Daniel Blasius and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Evletineukas has managed to clinch.
Sesay avoids the elbow strike from Evletineukas, against the cage.
Sesay jumps guard but Evletineukas stands there with Sesay around his waist. Sesay gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Evletineukas lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
It looks like Aaron Sesay has been cut. Evletineukas lands an elbow inside. Evletineukas breaks from the clinch.
Evletineukas gets a clinch. Evletineukas with a knee to the head.
Sesay is working for takedown but Evletineukas is calmly controlling the position for now. Sesay turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Sesay manages to end up in side control. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Evletineukas pushes Sesay away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Sesay gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Evletineukas is looking to get back to his feet here but Sesay is keeping cool and he's managed to take Evletineukas's back. Evletineukas prevents Sesay from getting a body triangle.
That's one minute gone in the round. Evletineukas trying to get back to his feet but Sesay is in full control for now. Sesay tries to keep control of the position but Evletineukas is staying busy. Evletineukas wants to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Sesay throwing lazy shots from the back mount that aren't doing any damage. Evletineukas looking very determined here, making life difficult for Sesay.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Evletineukas holding both Sesay 's hands and preventing any damage. Sesay wants to control but Evletineukas is keeping busy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sesay has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Evletineukas has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Evletineukas controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Evletineukas has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from Sesay. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Varis Evletineukas will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Aaron Sesay's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Evletineukas rushes Sesay and presses him up against the cage. Evletineukas throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Sesay blocks it with crossed arms. Evletineukas breaks the clinch.
Sesay tries to close the distance and clinch but Evletineukas swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Evletineukas throws a wild body kick that Sesay sees coming a mile off. Evletineukas moves into the clinch. Sesay drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Evletineukas gets the underhooks and prevents it.

A shot in the inside from Evletineukas. A battle for position here, against the cage. Evletineukas lands a good knee to the midsection. Sesay won't want to take too many of those. Evletineukas putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Sesay in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. Sesay is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Evletineukas lands with a left to the head. A quick uppercut on the inside from Evletineukas. Evletineukas working Sesay over with knees to the body. Evletineukas landing knees to the head.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Evletineukas with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Evletineukas pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Evletineukas instigates a clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sesay takes a knee right on the jaw!

That has opened up Aaron Sesay's cut even more. Sesay is trying to break free. Evletineukas is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. Evletineukas with a knee to the head.
Sesay wants to break the clinch but can't.
Evletineukas will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Sesay up against the cage. Evletineukas breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Evletineukas fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Sesay, pushing him back against the cage. Evletineukas pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. A head kick misses from Evletineukas. Sesay misses with a jab, cross combination.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Evletineukas moves into the clinch. Evletineukas with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Evletineukas breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Evletineukas rushes Sesay and presses him up against the cage. Evletineukas's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Sesay shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Evletineukas pinned against the cage. Evletineukas gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Evletineukas scores to the head and body with a nice combination! The fight moves into the clinch position. Evletineukas stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Sesay tries to score a body lock takedown but Evletineukas shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Varis Evletineukas has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Aaron Sesay.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Evletineukas lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Evletineukas unloads a knee to the mid-section. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Evletineukas with a knee to the head.
Evletineukas pushes Sesay back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Evletineukas escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A lazy left from Evletineukas finds it's target. Evletineukas lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Nice shot lands for Evletineukas.
The cut above Aaron Sesay's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Evletineukas cracks Sesay with an open hand slap. Sesay shoots in for a takedown but Evletineukas shows good takedown defense. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Evletineukas dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Evletineukas is pawing at Sesay, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Sesay's nose. Sesay is badly hurt! Evletineukas pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Sesay tries desperately to hold on but Evletineukas is relentless in his assault! As Sesay receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Evletineukas away and this one is in the books!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Varis Evletineukas!
