Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams drives through with a takedown into Gallegos's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Williams is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Williams throws a big elbow that misses.
Gallegos being controlled here, momentarily.
Williams is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Gallegos is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Gallegos has escaped and now he's on top!
Williams is trying to control the position but Gallegos postures up.

Williams trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
Williams has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Williams not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Williams is looking to stand up but Gallegos isn't so interested in that idea.
Williams controls Gallegos momentarily but Gallegos frees himself.
Trent Williams has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Gallegos tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Williams defends well and Gallegos ends up having to push Williams into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Gallegos tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Gallegos wants to break free but Williams has control.
Gallegos's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Williams throws a body punch but Gallegos moves out of range.

Williams shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Gallegos could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Well, if Williams is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Williams is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Gallegos defends it well.
Gallegos wants to control but Williams is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Williams in particular looking to stall.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Trent Williams.
Williams closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Gallegos is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Gallegos is trying to escape the position but Williams is controlling the position.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Trent Williams wasn't active enough on the ground.
Williams dives in and scores a takedown into Gallegos's guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Williams is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Gallegos clinches with his opponent.
Williams manages to pull guard.
Williams lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
Trent Williams has got the better of the ground game so far.
Williams is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Williams postures up in Gallegos's guard and throws a big left but Gallegos blocks it.
Williams looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Williams content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

Gallegos keeping moving, preventing Williams from controlling successfully.
Gallegos is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Gallegos looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Williams has picked Gallegos up and slammed him! Gallegos can't keep hold of the triangle and Williams manages to pass to side control!
Williams wants to stand but Gallegos has his arm trapped.
Williams advances to mount.

Williams sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Williams lands a couple of good shots and Gallegos has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
Williams is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Gallegos defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
This has been an exciting period of action!
I would not like to be Gallegos right now.
Gallegos is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.

Gallegos is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Williams.
Williams is cranking Gallegos's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Gallegos! He's tightened the choke and Gallegos is tapping out!
