Kenner kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is ''Death Wish'' by Jadakiss feat. Lil Wayne. DeAngelo Kenner has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Simo Silakka!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Marco Blurström and Johanna Lukiainen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silakka swings for the body but Kenner moves out of range.
Kenner finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Silakka steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Kenner.
A slow jab from Kenner misses its intended target.
Silakka tries to bum rush Kenner with a series of wild strikes but Kenner uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Kenner scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Silakka looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Simo Silakka seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silakka jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Kenner looks to score with a jab to the body but Silakka is just out of range.
Nice cross by Kenner.
Kenner shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Silakka defends it nicely.
Silakka walks into a stiff left hand from Kenner.
Kenner lands with a hook. Silakka tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
We've been hearing reports that Kenner has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kenner stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Silakka.
Silakka misses with a looping left.
Silakka scores with a nice strike.
Kenner dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Silakka. That did some damage!
Kenner getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Kenner swings away with a leg kick that misses.

Kenner fails with a takedown attempt.
Silakka stuns Kenner with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Kenner pivots, looking for a leg kick but Silakka is out of range and Kenner settles back down.
Kenner is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.


It looks like DeAngelo Kenner has been cut.
Silakka is looking to score with low kicks.
Silakka tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kenner was well out of range. Poor timing from Silakka.
Silakka throws a hook but Kenner avoids it easily.
Kenner fails with the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for DeAngelo Kenner. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kenner throws a body punch but Silakka moves out of range.
Silakka throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Kenner tests Silakka's chin there with a solid looking shot.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Silakka on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Silakka does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
A jab from Kenner finds it's way through Silakka's defenses.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Silakka.
Silakka throws a jab but it's blocked by Kenner.
Kenner lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Kenner cracks the inside of Silakka's front leg.
Silakka gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Kenner.
Jab, jab by Silakka - just one landing.
A jab from Silakka misses.
Kenner displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Silakka throws out the jab.
Kenner throws an overhand right that drops Silakka like a sack of potatoes! Kenner dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
