The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Jeff Smith and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rosa darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Lowse wants to control but Rosa is keeping busy.
Rosa really is a fat lump.
Lowse actively working from the bottom here.
Rosa throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Lowse had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Rosa defends it easily.
Rosa throwing strikes from guard but Lowse blocks nicely.

Lowse looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Rosa working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Rosa is looking to work some ground and pound but Lowse has wrist control.
Lowse working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Rosa doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Rosa manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Rosa has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Lowse looking for a triangle here. Rosa is fighting it but it looks tight! Lowse pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Rosa is tapping out - this one is all over!
