0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kobe Back! The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Paulo Santos and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Booth misses with a body shot.

Booth connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Back shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Back was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Booth misses with an elbow from the bottom. Back stands up and we're back to a striking position. Booth gets tackled into the cage by Back. Back maintains the clinch. Booth manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Back is pushing down on Booth's leg trying to pass to half guard. Booth is fighting to maintain full guard but Back has managed to sneak the leg through. Booth really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Back trying to control the action but Booth is working from the bottom.

Back wants to control the action but instead Booth gets a body lock and reverses into Back's guard! Nice work! Back looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Booth puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Back controlling the position for now. Back slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Back managing to control the position. Back looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Booth has picked Back up and slammed him! Back can't keep hold of the triangle and Booth manages to pass to side control! Booth is looking to take a break and control but Back is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Back is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Booth is controlling him well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Booth just misses with a elbow thrown towards Back's brow. Booth working hard to break the clinch. Back keeps control of Booth as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Booth is trying to pull guard but Back turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Booth gets control of Back's arms and successfully pulls guard. Booth will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Back wanted to stand there but Booth had control of the position. Back decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Booth, up you get!
That's one minute gone in the round. Back shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Booth manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Kobe Back has got the better of the ground game so far. Back looking to pass the guard. Back stands up from Booth's guard - Back perhaps looking for a knockout. Booth shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Back sprawls well. Back wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Booth gets slowly back to his feet. Booth showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Donk. Back catches Booth right on the button with a cross. Back shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Back showed some decent athleticism there. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Back moves into full mount! Booth won't be happy about that! Back is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Back tries to clinch but Booth is having none of it. Booth gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Back pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Booth is keeping the position for now. Back wants to control from the top but Booth keeps moving. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Booth throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Booth has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Kobe Back hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Back scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Back is breathing heavily. Booth striking from the bottom but nothing landed.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Booth is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Back tries to score with some ground and pound. Booth controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kobe Back showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Booth tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Back manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Booth circles away from the clinch attempt.

Back looks to land a combination. Booth sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Booth fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Nice cross by Back.
Booth is rocked! Back and Booth are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Back throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Booth into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Back knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.
