Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Robert Champman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and mike choppra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Robert Champman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, mike choppra! The judges for this bout are James Glass, Andrew Berry and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Champman lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. choppra throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Champman. choppra tries to clinch but Champman is having none of it. choppra fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Champman swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
choppra throws a sloppy head kick and Champman moves out of range easily. Good exchange - Champman coming out on top. choppra closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Champman to the mat! Champman manages to get full guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Champman is looking to stand up but choppra isn't so interested in that idea. choppra forces his way into half guard. Champman has hold of choppra's hands but choppra slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. choppra working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. choppra is looking for a kimura but Champman is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for choppra to get the leverage. Champman won't allow choppra to pass to mount. choppra is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Champman defends it well. choppra stops Champman from getting back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Champman is staying active underneath choppra, who seems content to just control the action from this position. choppra has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Champman tries to get to full guard but choppra has control of the leg. choppra scoring with strikes to the body and head. choppra seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Champman does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. choppra is working for a kimura but Champman is defending it quite comfortably.
Champman knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for choppra on the ground. choppra is looking to take a break and control but Champman is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. choppra might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Champman kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Champman falls off balance throwing a combination
and choppra counters with a nice double leg into half guard. choppra is looking to take a break and control but Champman is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Champman is in trouble now - choppra has advanced to mount! Champman is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Champman is breathing heavily. choppra sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. choppra trying to control but Champman is having none of it. Champman tries to buck choppra off but he can't manage it. Champman is squirming around, avoiding choppra's attempts to control the action. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Despite being in the dominant position, mike choppra just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. choppra wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. choppra tries to clinch but Champman is having none of it. choppra lands a slapping body shot.
choppra closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Champman wants to get back to his feet. choppra has hold of Champman's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Champman seems comfortable defending it but choppra has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Champman is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Champman is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but choppra couldn't care less - he's delighted!
