Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Steel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonny Perry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, John Steel! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jonny Perry ! The judges for this bout are Darius Henderson, Damien Edna and Ben Watson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Perry fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Steel avoids it really well and circles away. Perry darts in and clinches Steel up against the cage. Perry jumps guard but Steel stands there with Perry around his waist. Perry gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Steel jumps guard and drags Perry to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Steel wants to stand but Perry is controlling the position. Perry 's corner is telling him to maintain position.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Jonny Perry hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. No luck for Steel with that takedown attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Perry uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Steel.
Perry closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Steel to the mat! Steel manages to get full guard. Steel wants to stand but Perry is controlling the position. Perry decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Steel, up you get! Steel throws a right and a left that Perry avoids nicely. Perry fails with a takedown attempt. John Steel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jonny Perry . Nice defenses there by Perry .
That's two minutes gone in the round. Perry shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Perry was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Steel is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Perry asserts his dominance and retains side control. Perry has hold of Steel's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Steel seems comfortable defending it but Perry has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Steel is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Steel is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Perry couldn't care less - he's delighted!
