Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marcellus Carr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Inman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marcellus Carr has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Marcellus Carr! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Carlos Inman! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Carr tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Inman uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Carr.
Inman with a poor takedown and Carr counters with a nice uppercut. Inman moves out of range as Carr strikes. Inman looks winded! Inman tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Carr paws at him with a jab and circles away. Inman defending well as Carr loads up on a big left hand. Inman takes a kick to the side of the head. Inman gets a takedown into half guard. Carr tries to get to full guard but Inman has control of the leg.
That's one minute gone in the round. Carr actively working from the bottom here. Carr wants to get back to his feet.
Inman prevents Carr from improving his position. Carr tries to kick Inman off but Inman keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Carr is looking to get back to is feet but Inman passes into side control.
Carr defending against the ground and pound. Carr is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Inman looks up at the clock and then as Carr takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Inman smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Inman throwing strikes but missing, from side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Inman tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Inman has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Carr pushes Inman away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Inman gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Inman wants to stand but Carr has his arm trapped. Carr is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Inman has just dragged him back down to the mat. Carr can't do much from the bottom here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Carr sneaks back into half guard. Inman tries to pass the half guard into mount. Carr knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Carr is trying to stand back up but Inman is controlling him
Inman missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Carr is trying to stand back up but Inman is controlling him
Inman throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Carr looks like he's trying to stand up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Inman tries to pass to full mount but Carr defends it. Inman thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Carr gets full guard. Carr is looking to stand up but Inman isn't so interested in that idea. Carr will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Inman is looking to pass into half guard but Carr pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Carr is in guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Carr postures up and lands a big shot to Inman's brow. Carr postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Marcellus Carr will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Carr misses with a body shot
and Inman counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Carr's guard now. Carr is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Inman is controlling him. Carr trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Carr is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Carr is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Carr wants to stand up but Inman is controlling him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Carr has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Inman can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Carr is looking to stand up but Inman isn't so interested in that idea. Inman is in close to Carr's body, working some short punches and elbows. Carr wants to stand up but Inman is controlling him. Inman pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Carr is keeping the position for now. Inman postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Carr is looking to stand up but Inman isn't so interested in that idea. Inman is looking to work some ground and pound but Carr has wrist control. Inman loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Carr wants to get back to his feet but Inman is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Inman lands a couple of elbows. Carr is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Inman is controlling him. Carr keeping full guard, as Inman tries to pass. Carr has an active guard here but Inman has managed to pass into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Inman is looking to advance position but Carr won't allow it. Inman prevents Carr from standing back up.
Inman looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Carr is trying to stand.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Inman tries to pass to full mount but Carr defends it. Inman is still trying to improve position. Carlos Inman has got the better of the ground game so far. Carr is trying to stand up here but Inman is controlling him well. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Inman thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Carlos Inman showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Carr lands a jab to Inman's midsection. Inman with a lazy takedown attempt and Carr counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Carr throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Carr cracks Inman with a good jab. Carr shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Inman manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Carr wants to control from the top but Inman keeps moving. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Carr sitting in guard here, content to control.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Marcellus Carr just wasn't active enough. Carr shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Inman is looking to get back to full guard here but Carr has managed to pass to side control instead.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Carr trying to control the position but Inman is working away. Inman is being controlled here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Carr thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Inman is looking to reverse the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Carr working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Carr landing strikes. Carr trying to control the position but Inman is working away.
And that's the end of the fight! Marcellus Carr showed his dominance in that final round. Well Carr has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
