The judges for this bout are James Glass, Steven Brown and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kong staying out of range there.
Kong tries to clinch up.
Kong fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Svoboda sprawls well initially but Kong persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Svoboda taking some punishment here, with Kong in his half guard.
It looks like Lukas Svoboda has been cut.
Kong prevents Svoboda from improving his position.
Svoboda keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.

Svoboda slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Kong distracts Svoboda with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Svoboda is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Kong in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Kong slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Kong scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Svoboda to see if he's OK.

Lukas Svoboda's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Svoboda is staying active underneath Kong, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
