The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

Wukong tries to sprawl but Zedong drives through with a takedown into half guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Wukong is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Zedong pulls his head out easily.
Wukong trying to control but Zedong postures up.
Zedong will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Zedong is pressing down on Wukong's thigh, looking to free his foot. Wukong is holding on for now.
Zedong content to control rather than advance.
Wukong has hold of Zedong's hands but Zedong slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Zedong works his foot free and advances to mount.
Wukong is desperately trying to improve his position but Zedong has a good base and remains in mount.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Zedong pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Zedong lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Zedong working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Wukong looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Zedong! Submission of the night perhaps?
