Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jewel Lamb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander Shlemenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jewel Lamb!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alexander Shlemenko!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Cecil Peabody and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shlemenko shoots for a double leg takedown but Lamb sprawls well. He's pushed Shlemenko's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Shlemenko closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Lamb is trying to pull guard but Shlemenko turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Shlemenko is working for takedown but Lamb is calmly controlling the position for now.

Shlemenko breaks from the clinch.

Lamb shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Shlemenko napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Lamb wants to stand but Shlemenko is controlling his arm.
Lamb is looking to take a break and control but Shlemenko is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Lamb stands up and beckons Shlemenko to his feet.
Shlemenko shoots in for a takedown but Lamb shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Shlemenko rushes Lamb and presses him up against the cage.

Lamb slaps away a takedown attempt from Shlemenko, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Shlemenko shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Lamb sprawls well. Lamb wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Shlemenko gets slowly back to his feet.
Lamb tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Shlemenko shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lamb as he jumps to the side.
Lamb keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.

Lamb could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Shlemenko has taken the fight to the clinch.
Shlemenko goes for a takedown attempt but Lamb pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Shlemenko closes the distance and pushes Lamb back into the cage.

Lamb is trying to pull guard but Shlemenko turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Lamb gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Shlemenko.
Lamb tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Lamb wants to stand but Shlemenko is controlling the position.

Lamb might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Shlemenko wants to control the pace but Lamb is squirming around nicely.

Lamb is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Lamb wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Shlemenko.
Shlemenko sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Shlemenko goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Lamb is on top in guard.
Lamb has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Shlemenko is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Shlemenko is pushing Lamb's head away, looking to escape. Lamb manages to hold on to the position though.

Lamb tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.

Lamb working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Shlemenko tries to escape but Lamb is in control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jewel Lamb will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

and Shlemenko counters with a shoot takedown. Lamb fights it but they end up in guard.
Lamb is looking to stand up but Shlemenko isn't so interested in that idea.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Alexander Shlemenko wasn't active enough on the ground.

Lamb stuffs the takedown.

Shlemenko makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Lamb looks to land a combination but Shlemenko avoids it well.

Shlemenko throws a sloppy head kick and Lamb moves out of range easily.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Lamb looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Alexander Shlemenko comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Lamb has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
