The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Masters dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Akhmedov. That did some damage!

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Akhmedov has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Akhmedov and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Akhmedov might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Masters has got the better of the exchanges.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Akhmedov crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Masters - the referee stops the clock and Akhmedov gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Masters . Akhmedov manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
