Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mats Thoreson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vlad Vladimirovich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vladimirovich is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Kalinka. Mats Thoreson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Mats Thoreson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Vlad Vladimirovich! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Atkins and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Thoreson misses the jab. A bone on bone clash there as Vladimirovich blocks the leg kick.
Vladimirovich misses with a body kick. Thoreson shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Thoreson was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Thoreson connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Vladimirovich some visible discomfort.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Vladimirovich can do anything to dispel that myth. Thoreson tries to score with some ground and pound. Vladimirovich controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Vladimirovich prevents Thoreson from improving position. Thoreson is looking to take a break and control but Vladimirovich is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Thoreson works to advance to full mount. Vladimirovich defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Thoreson connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Thoreson landing shots from mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Thoreson throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Vladimirovich is squirming around, avoiding Thoreson's attempts to control the action. Vladimirovich taking shots to the head. Poor strikes thrown by Thoreson there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Thoreson postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Vladimirovich badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Thoreson around the waist but Thoreson pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Thoreson is the winner by TKO! Thoreson jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mats Thoreson! Mats Thoreson really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Bad Man Clothing (Nothing Over $40) logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
