Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jake Lamotta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Torello (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lamotta comes into the arena with yes blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as James Torello enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
44 - 19 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jake Lamotta! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, James Torello! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lamotta feints and then cracks Torello's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Torello down. Torello scores with a kick to the midsection. Torello avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Torello ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Lamotta shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Lamotta showed some decent athleticism there. Lamotta wants to free his trapped foot but Torello is holding on for dear life with his legs. Torello missing with punches from the bottom.
Torello wants to control but Lamotta is keeping busy and won't allow it. Torello is trying to control but Lamotta passes into side control!
Lamotta is looking to take a break and control but Torello is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lamotta landing a few strikes. Lamotta lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. You can see the frustration on Torello's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Torello tries to buck Lamotta off but Lamotta is having none of it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lamotta lands an elbow. Lamotta tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Lamotta has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Lamotta trying to control the position but Torello is working away. Lamotta working the head and body with strikes. Torello tries to strike from the bottom but misses. Torello is working to avoid the ground and pound but Lamotta connects with a decent elbow. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Lamotta landing strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Torello is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Lamotta wants to lay and pray for a moment but Torello keeps working. Torello tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Lamotta wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Torello manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Still in half guard, Lamotta seems content to control. Torello wants to improve his position but Lamotta is controlling well.
Torello has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it. Torello tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Lamotta working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Lamotta wants to control but Torello is keeping him busy. Torello is trying to get back to full guard. Torello looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Torello wants to control but Lamotta is keeping busy.
Lamotta thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Lamotta uses his free foot to push down on Torello's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Torello. Lamotta scoring with strikes but Torello is staying in there. Torello is squirming around, avoiding Lamotta's attempts to control the action. Torello tries to hold on but Lamotta postures up. Torello takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Torello is rocked! Torello takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Torello is still in real trouble! Can Lamotta finish him? Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Torello can't escape the position.
Lamotta postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Torello badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Lamotta around the waist but Lamotta pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Lamotta is the winner by TKO! Lamotta jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
