Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Max Hatred (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Evan Lackey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Hatred might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to White Zombie - Thunderkiss '65. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Max Hatred! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Evan Lackey! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, George Francis and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lackey swats away the attempt to clinch by Hatred. Lackey moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Hatred shoots in and bounces Lackey off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lackey keeping moving, preventing Hatred from controlling successfully. Hatred stands up from guard. Let's bang! Lackey throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Lackey looks gassed! Nice takedown defense from Hatred. No joy for Lackey on that attempt. Lackey shoots in for a takedown but Hatred shows good takedown defense. Hatred misses with a takedown and Lackey counters with a series of strikes. Hatred will be more careful next time no doubt. Hatred misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Lackey.
Hatred swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Lackey.
It looks like Evan Lackey has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lackey keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Hatred shoots in and bounces Lackey off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Hatred loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Hatred sitting in guard here, content to control. Hatred trying to control but Lackey is working from the bottom. Hatred stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lackey swivels though and keeps the full guard. Hatred postures up in Lackey's guard and throws a big left but Lackey blocks it. Hatred thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Lackey is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lackey wants to stand but Hatred is controlling the position.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Excellent takedown into side control there by Hatred. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Lackey is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Hatred looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Hatred tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Hatred has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Hatred trying to control the action but Lackey is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lackey throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land. Hatred trying to control the position but Lackey is working away. Lackey wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Lackey is trying to get back to half guard. Hatred tries for a kimura but Lackey is defending well. Lackey is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Lackey is not content to let Hatred control the position.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Hatred feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Hatred stopping the sweep attempt from Lackey. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lackey is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Lackey is looking to stand up but Hatred isn't so interested in that idea. Hatred trying to control but Lackey is working from the bottom. Hatred passes easily into side control. Nice work. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Max Hatred dominated that round. The cut man is working on Evan Lackey's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Hatred shoots in but Lackey avoids the takedown attempt easily. Hatred has a takedown stuffed. Lackey throws a right and a left that both miss. Hatred darts in and clinches Lackey up against the cage. Hatred successfully pulls guard.
Hatred bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Lackey's guard. Hatred passes Lackey's left leg - he's now in half guard. Hatred stands up out of the half guard. Max Hatred is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Hatred throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

That's one minute gone in the round. Lackey stuffs the takedown attempt from Hatred. Hatred gets slowly back to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Max Hatred. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hatred has a takedown stuffed. Nice sprawl there from Lackey as Hatred shoots in. Lackey fails to land with a series of punches.
Evan Lackey seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lackey fails with a takedown attempt. Hatred shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Lackey's guard. Hatred won't allow Lackey to sweep him here. Lackey is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Hatred is controlling him. Hatred forces his way into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hatred trying to control the action but Lackey is working from the bottom. Hatred drops an elbow to the side of Lackey's head. Lackey is trying to stand back up but Hatred is controlling him

Hatred can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Lackey is looking to escape. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Hatred cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hatred jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Lackey manages to avoid the submission attempt. Lackey is trying to buck Hatred off. Hatred is looking to take a break and control but Lackey is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Lackey wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Hatred shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Hatred trying to control but Lackey is having none of it. Max Hatred overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hatred looking to control and managing it successfully. Lackey tries to lock up and control but Hatred gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Hatred has control of Lackey's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Lackey regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Hatred stands up from mount. Strange move. Lackey doesn't manage to clinch there - Hatred circles away.

Hatred wants to clinch and Lackey counters with a big head kick but Hatred shrugs it off. Hatred shoots in but Lackey avoids the takedown attempt easily. Lackey throws a series of strikes that have Hatred backpedaling.
Hatred fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Lackey sprawls well initially but Hatred persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Hatred works his way into full mount! Lackey is looking to improve his position but Hatred isn't that keen on the idea. Lackey wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.

That's one minute gone in the round. Hatred has hold of Lackey's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Lackey manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Lackey keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
The referee warns Lackey that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Lackey tries to reverse the position but Hatred maintains control. Lackey wants to hold on but Hatred pushes him away. Hatred with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Hatred avoids the attempt from Lackey to control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Lackey is looking to improve his position but Hatred isn't that keen on the idea. Hatred looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Lackey really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

Lackey is controlling an arm, preventing Hatred from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.

Lackey is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Hatred trying to control but Lackey is working from the bottom. Lackey is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Hatred is controlling him. Hatred showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Hatred pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Lackey is keeping the position for now. Hatred trying to control the position from guard on top but Lackey is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Lackey wants to stand up but Hatred is controlling him.
And that's the end of the fight! Max Hatred showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Hatred, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
