The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Bronsted.
Franks could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Bronsted is looking to clinch but Franks is avoiding it.
Franks changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bronsted looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Franks controlling the position.
Franks has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Bronsted is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Franks yanks on the arm and Bronsted is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Franks.
