Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Gary Oak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Mclovin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Oak comes to the cage accompanied by Pokemon Theme. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Gary Oak! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, John Mclovin! The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, John Roberts and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mclovin misses with a looping left. Mclovin displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Mclovin moves out of range of the body kick. No luck for Oak with that takedown attempt. Oak fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mclovin manages to avoid it. Oak has been working on his balance at Valhalla:NY GYM, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Mclovin. Mclovin fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Oak, pushing him back against the cage. Mclovin has picked Oak up - he's going for a ride! Mclovin dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Mclovin uses his free foot to push down on Oak's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Oak. Mclovin working the ground and pound effectively.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Mclovin controlling the pace for now. Mclovin avoids the attempt from Oak to control. Mclovin quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Mclovin but it's paid off an Oak is forced to tap! Nice work by Mclovin.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). John Mclovin! In defeat, Gary Oak stepped up to the mic, saying 'Uh, I had a good fight today, but he was just a little better, today. Now I gotta get back in the gym and train a lil bit harder. '.
