Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Filiberto Rhodes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivo Osis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ivo Osis has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Filiberto Rhodes's chin.

The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Andrew Berry and Donald Grub.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rhodes changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Osis tries to avoid it but Rhodes manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Osis to the ground. Osis escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Osis throws a leg kick that is checked
and Rhodes counters with a nice low kick that buckles Osis's knee momentarily.
Rhodes swats away the attempt to clinch by Osis.
Osis is looking to clinch.
Osis moves in looking to clinch but Rhodes pushes him off.

Osis shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Osis was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Rhodes explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!

Osis throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Rhodes counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Osis is lucky that one didn't land flush.

and Rhodes finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Rhodes lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

and Rhodes counters with an outside leg kick.

Osis shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Osis seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Osis must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Rhodes lands a good elbow from the bottom.

Osis tries to free his leg and advance position but Rhodes is retaining full guard.
Rhodes will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Rhodes pushes Osis off and gets back to his feet.
Osis throws a sloppy head kick
and Rhodes counters with a head kick. That will keep Osis thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Osis gets a double leg takedown into Rhodes's guard.
Osis looks winded!
Rhodes wants to stand but Osis is controlling the position.
Osis has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Rhodes is proving hard to escape from.

Rhodes is striking from the bottom but Osis uses the opportunity to pass into half guard.

Rhodes has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Osis is on him like a limpet, forcing Rhodes back against the cage.

Osis has picked Rhodes up - he's going for a ride! Osis dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Rhodes is looking to cinch up a triangle. Osis throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Rhodes's body to avoid the submission. Rhodes has instead reached around Osis's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Rhodes arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
