The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Johanna Lukiainen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcknight shoots in looking for a takedown but Mannisto manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Mcknight's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Mannisto tries a head kick but it misses.
Mannisto throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Mcknight throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Mannisto connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Mcknight momentarily.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

and Mannisto makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Mannisto slaps away a takedown attempt from Mcknight, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Mannisto shoots in and drives through. Mcknight sprawls well.

and Mannisto counters by moving into the clinch.

Mannisto jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Mcknight walks away with a smile on his face. Mannisto gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Mannisto shoots in looking for a takedown. Mcknight tries to sprawl out of it but Mannisto keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mcknight manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Mannisto leaves Mcknight with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
