Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eirik Rivfader (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Idesiku Ikupe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Idesiku Ikupe has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Jeff Smith and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ikupe fails with an attempt to clinch.
Ikupe clinches up with Rivfader and pushes him back against the cage.
Rivfader blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Rivfader jumps guard and drags Ikupe to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Ikupe postures up in Rivfader's guard and throws a big left but Rivfader blocks it.

Ikupe throws a strike but Rivfader rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Rivfader will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Ikupe is looking to stand up but Rivfader isn't so interested in that idea.
Ikupe tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Ikupe really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rivfader. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Ikupe wants to stand and escape but Rivfader is having none of it.

Rivfader tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ikupe sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Rivfader somewhat.
Nice uppercut lands for Rivfader. That snapped Ikupe's head back.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ikupe throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Ikupe wants to clinch up but Rivfader keeps it at a distance.
Ikupe tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Rivfader manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Rivfader drives through and clinches with Ikupe against the cage.
Rivfader keeps control of Ikupe as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Ikupe blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Ikupe misses with an elbow over the top.
Rivfader's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

and Rivfader counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Ikupe is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Rivfader has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Ikupe avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eirik Rivfader. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Rivfader keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Ikupe's efforts to push away.
Rivfader tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Ikupe just stands there and leans against the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Rivfader fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Ikupe misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Ikupe will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Rivfader moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Rivfader throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Rivfader thows a body kick. Ikupe tries to catch it but that hurt him.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Idesiku Ikupe will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Ikupe shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Rivfader pinned against the cage. Rivfader gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Ikupe scores with a decent looking hook.
Rivfader tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ikupe swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Ikupe Rushes Rivfader and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Rivfader is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Ikupe Piles on the pressure and Rivfader crumples to the floor! This one is all over!
