The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daniels has a takedown stuffed.

Daniels throws a series of punches but Dos Santos avoids them all with ease.
Daniels displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Dos Santos throws out the jab.

Dos Santos has picked Daniels up - he's going for a ride! Dos Santos dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Dos Santos takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Dos Santos postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Daniels in real trouble here! The ref calls for Daniels to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!

Junior Dos Santos decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
