The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Freeman shoots for a takedown but Nobunaga saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Nobunaga changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Freeman looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Freeman really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Freeman is not content to let Nobunaga control the position.
Freeman is pushing Nobunaga's head away, looking to escape. Nobunaga manages to hold on to the position though.

Nobunaga stands up.
Freeman misses with a takedown attempt
and Nobunaga counters with a right, left combo that wobbles Freeman badly! Nobunaga follows up with a massive right hook, straight to the bridge of the nose that knocks Freeman out cold! Oh wow, what a finish! Very reminiscent of Koscheck vs Yoshida as Nobunaga finished him against the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Ryushin Nobunaga!
