Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ken Stewart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Christian Vazquez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Lou da Vinci and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Vazquez - that will leave a mark!
Stewart shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Vazquez pinned against the cage. Vazquez gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Vazquez clinches up with Stewart and pushes him back against the cage.
Vazquez is looking to take this one to the mat.
Vazquez pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Vazquez throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Stewart really is a fat lump.

Vazquez has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Stewart uses from the top position.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Vazquez uses his free foot to push down on Stewart's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Stewart.
Vazquez wants to control the pace but Stewart is squirming around nicely.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Stewart has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Vazquez is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ken Stewart.
Well Vazquez has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
