Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Krzysiek Oki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Agapit Blondi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Agapit Blondi has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Krzysiek Oki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
10 - 25 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Agapit Blondi!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Marco Blurström and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oki tries a head kick but it misses.
Oki avoids the head kick by Blondi.
Oki is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Oki throws a head kick that misses.
Oki wants to clinch.
Blondi shoots for a double leg takedown but Oki sprawls well. He's pushed Blondi's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Blondi shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Oki sprawls well. Oki wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Blondi gets slowly back to his feet.
Blondi closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Oki breaks the clinch.
We've been told by Oki's head coaches at IMMA Gym of ASS that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Blondi dives in and grabs Oki's left leg, looking for a takedown. Oki pushes down on Blondi's head and hops out.
Krzysiek Oki has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Agapit Blondi.
Oki drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Blondi looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.

Oki stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Blondi swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Blondi is trying to control the position but Oki postures up.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Blondi tries to score a power double leg takedown but Oki sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Blondi somewhat.

and Oki counters by clinching up.

Oki forces Blondi back against the cage and clinches.

Blondi on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Blondi wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Oki tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Blondi avoids it.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Blondi can't get the takedown.
Oki breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Oki closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Blondi throws a head kick that misses.
Oki shoots in looking for a takedown. Blondi tries to sprawl out of it but Oki keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Blondi manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Oki fails with the takedown.
Blondi misses with a wild body shot.
Blondi throws a half hearted mid kick.
Blondi has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight.
Oki checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Blondi forces Oki back against the cage and clinches.
Oki breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Blondi shoots and misses
and Oki counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Nice takedown defense from Oki. No joy for Blondi on that attempt.
Blondi tries to close the distance and clinch but Oki swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Krzysiek Oki dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!
Oki changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Blondi looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Blondi is not content to let Oki control the position.
Blondi wants to control but Oki postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Blondi has one of Oki's arms on lockdown, trying to prevent him from doing any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Blondi tries to buck Oki off but Oki is having none of it.
Blondi manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Oki wants to improve his position but Blondi is controlling well.
Oki is working hard here to advance position.

Oki misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Blondi wants to pass the guard but Oki is defending well.
Oki manages to get to full guard.

Oki is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Oki knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Blondi on the ground.
Oki wants to sweep but no luck.

Oki is not content to let Blondi control the position.
Blondi lands a nice forearm strike.

Blondi decides to stand up, so the ref orders Oki to his feet.

Blondi forces Oki back against the cage and clinches.
Oki manages to pull guard.
Blondi wants to pass the guard but Oki is keeping the position.
Oki manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Blondi manages to get himself to full guard.

Blondi is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Oki presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

Oki is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Blondi misses with a hook to the ribs.
Oki tries to score a body lock takedown but Blondi shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Oki can't break the clinch.
Blondi manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Blondi throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Oki blocks it with crossed arms.
Oki has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Blondi is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Krzysiek Oki. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Blondi is pressed up against the cage. Oki has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Blondi down to the mat. Blondi avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Blondi shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Oki as he jumps to the side.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

A close second round but Agapit Blondi will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Blondi is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Blondi is on top in guard.

and Oki counters with an inside leg kick.
Krzysiek Oki is winning the standup battle so far.
Oki clinches.
Oki jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Blondi walks away with a smile on his face. Oki gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Oki displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Blondi.
Oki shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Blondi's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Oki is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Blondi has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Oki is looking to defend but Blondi has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Oki! Blondi pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Oki taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:20 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Agapit Blondi!
