Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Laisius Muta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jailson Junior (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Roger Salmon and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Muta scores with a hook to the body. Junior takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Junior tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Muta manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Muta takes a swing at Junior's ribcage but misses.
Junior scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Junior shoots for a double leg takedown but Muta sprawls well. He's pushed Junior's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Nice body kick from Junior.
Muta instigates a clinch.
Muta gets control of Junior's arms and successfully pulls guard. Muta will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Junior won't allow Muta to sweep him here.
Muta pulls Junior in close to his closed guard and prevents Junior from doing any damage or advancing position.

Muta throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Junior tries to keep at a distance but Muta has taken the fight into the clinch.
Junior is trying to pull guard but Muta has him pressed against the cage.
Muta has picked Junior up - he's going for a ride! Muta dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Muta lands a nice short elbow.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Muta stops Junior from getting back to his feet.

Muta wants to work for an arm triangle but Junior is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
A decent looking cross lands there for Muta.
Muta looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Junior is fending him off so far but Muta persists. Nope, Junior circles away and we're back to standing.
Muta misses with an attempted mid kick.
Laisius Muta is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Muta has his takedown stuffed
and Junior counters with a series of strikes. Muta will be more careful next time no doubt.
Muta moves into the clinch.
Junior tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Muta manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Junior must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Muta has control of Junior's left arm, preventing Junior from doing any damage.
Muta lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Junior is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Junior tries for a takedown but Muta sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Junior tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Muta paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Muta decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Muta is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Laisius Muta just wasn't active enough.
Junior walks into a straight right hand from Muta.

A quick uppercut on the inside from Muta.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Junior pulls Muta into guard.
Junior really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Muta. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Muta sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Junior's guard.
Muta maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Junior could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Muta has cracked it and Junior is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Muta!
