Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lucifer Maia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pedro Del Dodo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Del Dodo has chosen Out of my way as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Pedro Del Dodo enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lucifer Maia! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pedro Del Dodo! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Daniel Franklin and George Francis.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Del Dodo gets a takedown into half guard. Maia looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Del Dodo winds up and cracks Maia with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Maia looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Del Dodo working Maia over with strikes. Del Dodo winds up and cracks Maia with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Maia is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Del Dodo pulls his head out easily. Del Dodo working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Del Dodo is tying to control. Maia wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Del Dodo working Maia over with strikes.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Del Dodo wants to control but Maia is keeping him busy. Maia won't allow Del Dodo to pass to mount. Del Dodo wants to stand up but Maia is controlling the position.
Del Dodo wants to lay and pray for a moment but Maia keeps working. Del Dodo is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Maia won't allow Del Dodo to pass to mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Del Dodo takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. It looks like Del Dodo is going to stand back up.
 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Del Dodo closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Del Dodo lands in his opponent's guard. Del Dodo makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Del Dodo avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
 That's three minutes gone in the round.
Maia working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Del Dodo doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Del Dodo manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Del Dodo working some strikes from top position. Del Dodo content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Maia looking to hit a scissor sweep but Del Dodo is one step ahead there. Del Dodo looking to pass the guard.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Del Dodo is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Del Dodo's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Del Dodo showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Maia looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pedro Del Dodo dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!

Maia tries to keep at a distance but Del Dodo has taken the fight into the clinch. Maia tries to pull guard but Del Dodo holds him up against the cage and eventually Maia drops back down to his feet.

Del Dodo trying to control the position from guard on top but Maia is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Del Dodo working some strikes from top position. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Del Dodo postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Del Dodo lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Maia has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Del Dodo can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Del Dodo lands a couple of elbows. Maia keeping moving, preventing Del Dodo from controlling successfully.
Maia has his foot on Del Dodo's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Del Dodo works his way back into a safe position though.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Maia wants to sweep but no luck. Maia keeping full guard, as Del Dodo tries to pass. Del Dodo keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Maia's head. Del Dodo is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Del Dodo wants to control from the top but Maia keeps moving.
Maia working for a triangle but Del Dodo defends it easily.
 That's three minutes gone in the round.
 Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Del Dodo closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Del Dodo is looking to take a break and control but Maia is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Maia manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Maia wants to pass to mount but Del Dodo is defending the position.
Maia is working for a kimura but Del Dodo is defending it quite comfortably.
Maia trying to pass the guard but Del Dodo defending well. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Maia is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Del Dodo is just riding it out for now. Maia eventually gives up the hold. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pedro Del Dodo showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

Del Dodo shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Del Dodo moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Maia has worked his arm free - good work by Maia!
Maia gets back to half guard. Del Dodo frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Del Dodo lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Maia hang on? Del Dodo working the ground and pound effectively.
Maia is working to get back to half guard.
Del Dodo lands a big shot there that rocks Maia but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Maia is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Del Dodo lands a nice shot to the head. Del Dodo connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Del Dodo looking to control but Maia is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Del Dodo lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Del Dodo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Maia. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Del Dodo trying to control but he's not successful this time. Del Dodo working Maia over with strikes here.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Maia working to try and regain half guard.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Del Dodo cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Del Dodo prevents Maia from getting the reversal. Del Dodo looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Maia slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Del Dodo looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Maia with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Maia is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Del Dodo pulls his head out easily.
Del Dodo is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Maia actively working from the bottom here. Lucifer Maia has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Del Dodo is keen to just control but Maia is a slippery customer.
And that's the end of the fight! Pedro Del Dodo comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Del Dodo has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
