Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vince Cruise (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kaija Koo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Koo has chosen Kaija Koo - Kuka keksi rakkauden? as his entrance music. Vince Cruise has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Vince Cruise! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kaija Koo! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Koo looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Cruise looking for a takedown here - he's got it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Cruise tries to free his leg and advance position but Koo is retaining full guard. Cruise drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Cruise jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Koo is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Cruise trying to move into half guard but instead Koo has managed to sweep! Koo is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Cruise will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Koo stands and throws Cruise's legs to the side, diving into side control. Cruise regains half guard. Cruise tries to roll over but Koo keeps him under control. Koo is trying to control the action in half guard but Cruise is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Koo is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Cruise has managed to free his arm - good work. Cruise is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Koo scores with a couple of nice shots.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cruise wants to control but Koo is keeping busy.
Koo working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Cruise is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Koo's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Koo's back! Koo has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Koo breaks Cruise's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Koo trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Cruise working for a triangle but Koo defends it easily.
Cruise is breathing heavily. Koo trying to control the position from guard on top but Cruise is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Cruise being controlled here, momentarily. Koo working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Koo wants to control from the top but Cruise keeps moving. Koo with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Koo works a leg free and moves into half guard. Cruise tries to get to full guard but Koo has control of the leg. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Koo connects with a nice short shot to Cruise's temple. Koo moves into full mount! Cruise won't be happy about that! Koo tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Cruise is squirming around, avoiding Koo's attempts to control the action. Koo looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Cruise tries to reverse the position but Koo maintains control. Koo putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Koo trying to control but he's not successful this time. Koo working away from the top, dropping strikes. Koo wants to finish this one by submission but Cruise is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Koo. Cruise tries to get back to half guard but can't. Koo is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Koo!
