Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Guillermo Sandoval (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Larsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Paul Larsson will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Guillermo Sandoval! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Paul Larsson ! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Daniel Bishop and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Larsson shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Sandoval shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Sandoval showed some decent athleticism there. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Sandoval decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Larsson works Sandoval's body with a nice hook. Larsson moves in looking to clinch but Sandoval pushes him off. Sandoval gets tackled into the cage by Larsson . Larsson maintains the clinch. Sandoval keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Larsson 's efforts to push away. Larsson is trying to break the clinch but Sandoval has him pressed against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Larsson throws an elbow but it's blocked.

Larsson throws a right and a left that both miss. Larsson gets tackled into the cage by Sandoval. Sandoval maintains the clinch. Sandoval has a couple of punches blocked by Larsson .
Larsson is trying to break the clinch but Sandoval is controlling him.

Sandoval breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Sandoval is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Larsson lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Larsson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Sandoval shoots in but Larsson avoids the takedown attempt easily. Larsson looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sandoval is trying hard to land a takedown here. Larsson sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Larsson misses with a wild combination.
Sandoval shoots in looking for a takedown. Larsson tries to sprawl out of it but Sandoval keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Larsson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Guillermo Sandoval. That's going to take a lot out of him. Sandoval is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Larsson moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Paul Larsson !
