Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bembol Oblaks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Janno Gibbs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Oblaks comes into the arena with The Wrestler by Bruce Springsteen blaring out of the sound system. Gibbs has chosen Apocalypse Please as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
20 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Bembol Oblaks!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
19 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Janno Gibbs!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Hugh Johnson and Chris Dean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gibbs lands with a kick to the temple. Oblaks shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Oblaks keeps the fight on the outside.
Oblaks throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Oblaks circles away from the clinch attempt
and Oblaks counters with a one-two to the body.
Oblaks fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Gibbs lands a glancing blow to the side of Oblaks's head.
Gibbs scores with a nice strike.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Oblaks tests Gibbs's chin there with a solid looking shot.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Oblaks is defended easily by Gibbs.
Gibbs dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Oblaks takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Oblaks misses with a hook
letting Gibbs counter with a right hand.
Gibbs misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Oblaks pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Gibbs gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Oblaks to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Oblaks slips nicely into half guard.
Oblaks stops Gibbs from getting back to his feet.
Oblaks seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Gibbs is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Bembol Oblaks!
As Bembol Oblaks got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: I came here to fight my heart out but I have to be honest and say that I didn't expect to win. The only thing I am sure of when I step into the ring is that I will win or lose with guns blazing. Thanks for the support it means a lot to me.
