Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Martin Louis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vinnie Vincent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Louis comes to the cage accompanied by Stand up and Fight. Vinnie Vincent told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
19 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Martin Louis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Vinnie Vincent! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vincent drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Vincent throws a leg kick that is checked and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Louis throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Louis takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Louis throws a big shot that misses. Louis takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Vincent ducks under a wild hook from Louis. Louis misses with a hook to the body
and Vincent counters with a two punch combo. Vincent connects with a right hand. Louis shakes it off. Louis looks to throw a body kick and Vincent cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Vincent avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Vincent connects with a right hand. Louis shakes it off. Louis lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Louis swings for the body but Vincent moves out of range.
Vincent misses with a hook. Louis ducked under it nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Louis looks to clinch and Vincent counters by moving into the clinch. Vincent stalling in the clinch.
Vincent trying to control the position but instead, Louis has worked for underhooks and has pushed Vincent into the cage. Louis is working Vincent over against the cage. Vincent can't break the clinch.
Vincent breaks from the clinch.
Vincent swings widly with a right hand
and Louis counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. A leg kick checked by Vincent. Vincent connects with a leg kick. Louis looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Vincent throws out a loose jab but Louis uses good head movement to avoid it. Vincent uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Louis. A right-left combo lands from Vincent. Vincent shoots in looking for a takedown. Louis tries to sprawl out of it but Vincent keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Louis manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Louis lands an overhand right. Louis throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Louis lands a nice looking body shot.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Louis. Louis lands with a cross. Vincent checks a leg kick. Louis misses with a body kick. Vincent tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Louis was well out of range. Poor timing from Vincent. Louis misses with a lunging right hand
and Vincent counters with a nice uppercut. Vincent takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Vincent thows a left - swing and a miss!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Vincent dodges the punch combination from Louis.
Vincent scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Vincent misses with a double jab.
Louis scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Vincent doesn't seem bothered though. Louis throws a right hand that misses
and Vincent counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Louis! The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Vincent swings around for an armbar but Louis sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Vincent's guard. Vincent has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Louis should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Vincent has tightened it up now! Louis should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Vinnie Vincent! An out of breath Vinnie Vincent thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
