Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Moth Balls (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hakbar Shamuli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hakbar Shamuli is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Moth Balls!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hakbar Shamuli!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Hirohito Nitta and Taro Takaoka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Shamuli closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Balls is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Shamuli asserts his dominance and retains side control.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Balls enables Shamuli to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Balls manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A nice inside leg kick there by Balls. That's going to slow Shamuli down.
Balls shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Shamuli as he avoids it easily.

Balls has his foot on Shamuli's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Shamuli works his way back into a safe position though.

Shamuli closes the distance and clinches up with Balls, looking for a takedown. Shamuli pushes Balls against the cage but Balls circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Shamuli will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Hakbar Shamuli seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Shamuli is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Balls.

Shamuli drives through with a takedown into Balls's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Balls dives in and grabs Shamuli's left leg, looking for a takedown. Shamuli pushes down on Balls's head and hops out.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Balls tries to pull guard but Shamuli forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Balls lands a hook that snaps the head of Shamuli backwards.

Shamuli is trying to trip Balls. He has hold of a leg but Balls is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Shamuli persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Shamuli shoots for a double leg takedown but Balls sprawls well. He's pushed Shamuli's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Hakbar Shamuli showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

The referee asks Shamuli politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Shamuli prefers to stall for the moment though.
