Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Baron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eraser Heads (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Baron's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Every Planet We Reach is Dead-Gorillaz. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, David Baron! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Eraser Heads! The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shigeki Sano and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Baron swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Baron throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Heads moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Baron scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Heads throws a right and a left that Baron avoids nicely. A combination from Heads does no damage. Heads scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Heads looks to land a combination but Baron avoids it well. Sloppy strikes from Baron. Those never looked like landing. Heads fails to land with a series of punches.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Heads throws a wild combination but nothing lands. A punch combination from Heads misses. Baron lunges at Heads with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Heads's hand. Heads takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Baron throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Heads sees it coming and avoids it easily. Baron fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. No joy there for Baron, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Heads throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Baron tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Heads is in Baron's guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Baron is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Heads gets to his feet - Baron follows without any prompting. Heads slips a jab from Baron. David Baron is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Nice defenses there by Heads. Baron throws a poor cross that misses
and Heads counters with a shoot takedown. Baron fights it but they end up in guard. Heads is fighting to break Baron's control of his arms but Baron is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Baron wants to get back to his feet but Heads is in a dominant position and won't allow it. The fighters are working up against the cage. Baron manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage. Heads breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Heads looks to land a combination. Baron sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Baron bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Heads's head. Heads throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Baron. Heads swinging wildly here.
Baron's jab looks to have found its range, popping Heads under the eye. Heads looks winded!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Heads throws a right and a left that both miss. Heads swinging wildly here.
Baron lands a big right hand that sends Heads crashing to the mat! Baron stays standing though and waves Heads back to his feet! This has been an exciting period of action! Baron fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Heads looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Baron lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Heads circles away quickly and effectively. Baron fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Baron throws a right hand that Heads ducks under and follows up with a left that Heads also avoids with ease. Baron throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Baron drops Heads with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Heads looks back up at him and smiles so Baron waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Heads is rocked!
It looks like Eraser Heads has been cut. Baron throws a pinpoint strike between Heads's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Heads crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Baron scores a great knockout victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). David Baron! David Baron bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
